How do I know how much time to book?
If you’re not sure, start with a Half Day for grouped tasks or a Full Day for larger projects. You can also book a Free Quote Visit, and we’ll help estimate how long it will take.
What’s included in the price?
All pricing includes labour, tools, and basic fixings (screws, wall plugs, glue, etc.). Materials like shelves, curtain poles, or specialist fixings should be supplied or agreed in advance.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No. There’s no call-out fee within Glasgow — travel is included in all pricing. We’re happy to help customers city-wide.
Do I need to be home during the job?
Not necessarily — if access can be arranged, we’re happy to carry out work while you’re at work or out. We just ask for clear instructions and a contact number.
What if the job takes less or more time than I booked?
If it takes less time, you only pay for what was needed. If it runs longer and we both agree to continue, we’ll charge the extra time at the standard hourly rate. Quoted jobs are done on a fixed fee basis.
Do you do emergency repairs or evening visits?
Not currently — our working hours are 8am to 6pm. But if you have an urgent issue, call us and we’ll do our best to help or recommend someone.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes — we just ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer the slot to someone else. Cancellations with less notice may incur a fee.
What happens if I cancel late?
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a 50% fee.
Can I get a receipt or invoice for the work?
Yes, we provide a full receipt via email, and can supply a professional invoice for landlords, businesses, or property managers.
